BARB PORTINGA (Costume Designer) - is super-excited to be working with Andrew Rasmussen again and she hopes it shows. Their collaboration began with THE WILD PARTY in 2005. Barb has been making her way in the world solely designing and building costumes for over 20 years. Her designs have been seen locally at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre's Fireside Theatre, Mixed Blood, Theatre Mu, Steppingstone Theater and Park Square, to name a few. Barb hails from Minneapolis where she is resident costume designer for Anoka Ramsey Community College, Minneapolis Community and Technical College and Roseville Area High School. She had her on-the-job training at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres where she is a cutter/draper for each main stage show. Her design work has been seen throughout the Midwest, including Fargo, and Door County, WI. She is the proprietor of Portable Costumes, where she works with Katrina Schuster, a designer from Appleton, WI.
